Mondeo Mk4 2.2 TDCi Titanium S

30 August 2018 - Reading time: 3 minutes

Even though I’ve owned this car for a while, I finally found the time to properly showcase it and the upgrades it received along the way.

The base is a 2009 Ford Mondeo Mk4 2.2 TDCi (175 HP) wagon, factory‑equipped with the Titanium S package:

  • 18'' alloys and exterior body kit
  • Alcantara interior with red stitching
  • Small Blaupunkt FX navigation unit
  • Heated seats
  • Convers+ instrument cluster
  • Bluetooth with USB
  • Rain & light sensors

Upgrades

  • Facelift Titanium S interior with memory, heated and ventilated seats.
  • Memory side mirrors with puddle lights and auto-fold.
  • Facelift Convers+ instrument cluster with EcoScout, improved audio shut‑off logic (now turns off when driver’s door opens), themes, digital speedometer, visual parking sensor display, and electric heater status.
  • Door‑mounted courtesy lights in place of front door reflectors.
  • Facelift navigation (high-level MCA) with camera integration, retaining the pre‑facelift glossy front panel for aesthetics.
  • Facelift hazard/defrost/parking button set.
  • Hill Launch Assist retrofit (ESP module + lateral acceleration sensor replaced).
  • Autostart enabled via RFA module swap.
  • TPMS (tire pressure monitoring) retrofit: BCMii replaced, new sensors, antennas, and rear antenna wiring installed.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) retrofit:
    • New front grille with radar sensor mounted near the radiator.
    • Added CCM (Cruise Control Module) under the glovebox.
    • Cruise control button replacement on steering wheel.
    • Activation via ELMConfig/Forscan; At that time radar calibration was only possible with Ford IDS.
